Production in CO.DI.TRA. is completely managed internally, an aspect that translates into important technical and commercial advantages:
Control of each stage of production;

Dimensional flexibility of the manufactured products
(it is possible to make changes in shape);
Possibility of customization of chemical analysis and heat treatments;
(forging, cross rolling and ad hoc heat treatments).
For CO.DI.TRA. "MADE IN ITALY" is not simply a slogan but a pride to show. Each product realized is entirely made in Italy and manufactured internally, only in this way the entire production process is monitored.
The products according to drawing are obtained from high quality alloy steel, processed in electric furnace, vacuum degassed and bottom poured into the ingots, using a proper chemical analysis. The material is then rolled or forged according to the final needs.
The completely "IN-HOUSE" production takes place with modern systems and machinery such as oxy-cutting machines, CNC work centers and grinding facilities managed by CAD-CAM systems, 100% controlled heat treatments through modern instruments in furnaces and tanks of the latest conception, all supported by modern digital technology.
Every single product is heat treated, this means that the mechanical characteristics are significantly higher (thanks to the greater homogeneity of the structure), with better performance in exercise.

CO.DI.TRA. has three automatic CN flame cutting systems, with cuts up to 700mm thick with excellent definition.
The department has a modern and equipped workshop, configured with:
- CN machining centers for precision mechanical machining;
- CN tangential adjustments for finishes after hardening;
- partner mechanical workshops for complementary processes.
It is the main and fundamental phase for obtaining performing products in operation where the uniformity of the structure and therefore of mechanical characteristics is a primary importance:
- latest generation heat treatment furnaces, controlled by PLC with dimensions up to 7.5m x2.5m;
- quenching tanks with water and polymeric solution, equipped with agitation
- Hardness tests;
- Manual Ultrasound Analysis;
- Visual and dimensional;
- Penetrant liquids;
- Chemical analyses.
